Boling was born May 15, 1964, in Artesia, the son of Robert E. “Bob” Boling and Mary Flickinger Boling. He was the beloved little brother of Mike Boling and Jackie Boling Jones, Janet Richardson and Jana Williams.

He was a graduate with the Artesia High School Class of 1982. Known to many as “Billy Bob,” he had many, many friends. He played golf and loved being an Artesia Bulldog.

Boling received his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from New Mexico State University in December 1987. He moved to Tucson, Ariz., and was an assistant superintendent at Ventana Canyon Golf Course. He then moved to Artesia, became self-employed, and ran a landscaping irrigation company.

Most recently, Boling was employed at Loudon Electric, LLC, as a field safety agent, beginning with the company in November 2008. Following his daughter’s graduation in May, he moved to Lubbock, Texas.

His greatest joy in life was his precious daughter, Savannah Boling, who currently attends South Plains College and of whom he was so proud and loved so much. He also had daughters Shawnee Jimenez and Darian Jimenez, whom he loved and adored.

Boling had recently become a “bonus” dad to Landon Hogle and experienced the joy of becoming a loving “bonus Popz” to his granddaughter, Linley Hogle, whom he loved very much.

He reunited over four years ago with a high-school classmate, Stacy Moore. To their surprise, they found in one another their soul mate and truest love, and were planning a lifetime of happiness. The two were united in marriage June 16, 2015, and were residing in Lubbock.

Survivors include his wife, Stacy Boling, of Lubbock; daughters Savannah Boling of Levelland, Texas, and Shawnee Jimenez of San Antonio, Texas; son Landon Hogle of Lubbock; granddaughter Linley Hogle; brother Mike Boling and wife Jamie of Roswell; nephews Colin and Blake Boling; sister Jackie Jones and husband Roger of Artesia; niece Pam Jones Jimenez; great-nieces Andrea and Gracie Jimenez, and Janayah Florez; great-nephew Mateo Florez; his adored aunt, Kate Wilson; and many close cousins and family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; daughter Darian Jimenez; niece Emily Jones Florez; and numerous aunts and uncles.

His wish would be for any donations to be given to the fund at Artesia Credit Union in the names of his great-niece and nephew, Janayah and Mateo Florez. As he also wanted to walk in the Heart Association Walk, donations to the American Heart Association would also be appreciated.

Arrangements are under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary. Condolences may be expressed online at www.artesiafunerals.com.
