Graveside services are scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at Woodbine Cemetery, followed by a memorial service at 10 a.m. at Trinity Temple Assembly of God, for David Cardon of Las Cruces.

Cardon, 49, passed away Friday, Sept. 4, in Midland, Texas.

Bobby Argo will officiate at the services. Pallbearers will be Lalo Galvan, Rodney Smith, Richard Valverde, Nick Flores, Daniel Cardon III, Brandon Galvan and Dallas Smith.

Cardon was born March 6, 1966, in Las Cruces, the son of Dan Cardon and Sally Rel.

He was a certified welder in the construction field and attended various churches. He had a great smile, infectious humor, and loved being around family.

Survivors include his daughter, Giovanni Clark, and two grandchildren of Las Cruces; father Daniel Cardon of Las Cruces; mother Sally Rel of Artesia; brother Daniel Cardon Jr. of Las Cruces; sisters Debby Galvan and husband Lalo of Artesia, Rosanna Rangel of Surprise, Ariz., and Cyndi Smith and husband Rodney of Newtown Square, Penn.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
