LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Dozens of golfers who play the game with one arm will be in Kentucky and southern Indiana for a championship tournament.
It’s the 15th annual North American One-Armed Golfers Association Championships, beginning Monday.
The golfers will compete over four days at three courses in Louisville and Goshen and one in southern Indiana.
The group’s president, Alan Gentry, says the tournament has helped introduce disabled citizens, including wounded soldiers, to the game of golf.
The finals are Thursday at South Park Country Club, and an awards banquet will be held that day at the Muhammad Ali Center.
