The Artesia City Council will make a decision at its 6 p.m. meeting today on whether or not to pass a water ordinance for the City of Artesia. The meeting will be at City Hall, 511 W. Texas Ave.
The council will hold a public hearing in which the public can speak for or against the ordinance. The council previously voted 4-3 in favor of a water ordinance Nov. 11, 2014, which was not enough of a majority to pass it.
